The project aims to protect Wadi Al-Dawasir Airport from torrential rains by making a diversionary sterilization to change the path of the torrents.
The project is spread over two locations
– The first site: It is located in Al-Masmah neighborhood on Khamis Mushait Road, next to Ferry No. 65, and it consists of two earthen moors covered with rubble stone, one with a length of 900 m and the other with a length of 950 m. The height of each moat ranges from 2.5 m to 4.5 m.
– The second site: in the Juba neighborhood near Wadi Al-Dawasir airport, and it consists of an earthen stump with stone cladding. The length is 19160 m, and its height ranges from 1.5 m to 8 m.
